Job Description

Majors Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the diary and arrange appointments as necessary.

Type reports and routine correspondence from dictation or written sources.

Screen and respond to all incoming telephone calls and take action as appropriate.

Draft routine correspondence for approval and signature by department head.

Receive visitors to the department head office.

Attend and minute all departments’ meetings and arrange for the distribution of the minutes.

Maintain the office filing system.

Make arrangements for any meetings required by department head.

Operate standard office equipment such as fax, photocopier etc.

Maintain an up-to-date list of contacts for department use.

Ensures the availability of adequate offices supplies and stationeries.

Performing all HR related matter at the region
